Dr. Giano Ricci began his career as a Periodontist at Boston University in 1972, where he earned a Master of Science in Periodontology after two years of study. In 1974, he opened the first dental practice in Italy dedicated exclusively to Periodontology. Since 1986, implantology has also become part of the treatments offered by the practice.
Author of numerous publications in the field of periodontology, he wrote the textbook “Diagnosis and Periodontal Therapy,” published by Quintessence. He has delivered lectures, presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and continuing education courses in periodontology, implantology, and esthetic dentistry throughout Europe, the United States, and Japan.
He is an active member of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), Honorary Member of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (AIOP), Past President of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED), Past President of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED), and Founder, Past President, and active member of the Italian Society of Periodontology (SIDP).
